Follow your heart.

From life happenings to babies to coffee and beyond, it’s just a tiny peek into the daily life of a Bay Area newborn photographer.

Instagram post 17981790799538613 Waking up on a Friday morning and I’m exhausted. I’m a mom of two young daughters. I am tired but I promise that I won’t stop fighting because I hope that someday they don’t have to. For them, for me, for us. I promise I’ll keep fighting to protect our rights to our own bodies.
Instagram post 17942626640050277 We had only been dating 8months when he asked me to marry him. A year after that we tied the knot. Look at us now, 9 years later and the life we’ve created together. Happy anniversary EB!! You and our girls are the center of my whole world. ❤️👨‍👩‍👧‍👧
Instagram post 17949203050895622 “The truth is that motherhood is a hero’s journey. For most of us it’s not a journey outward, to the most fantastic and farthest-flung places, but inward, downward, to the deepest parts of your strength, to the innermost buried core of everything you are made of but didn’t know was there.”
-Jessi Klein’s “Epiphany in the Baby-Food Aisle”

Motherhood, in a it’s chaos, is the most beautiful mess I know. 📸 Thank you to @corinnemccombs for capturing our beautiful chaos.
Instagram post 17917384955459681 Happy 12th birthday Harvey, we miss you so much sweet boy. Since your passing two of your doggie friends have joined you on the other side of the rainbow bridge. We are heartbroken for our friends and families losses as well. I hope the three of you are galavanting around together 💔🌈
Instagram post 18293135293011624 Oh postpartum. I’m in the thick of it with my second postpartum experience. The lack of sleep, covered in milk stains, analyzing baby poops, tender sore body, swinging hormones, waves of anxiety. It’s all raw and real. I also don’t think I truly recognized how truly difficult my postpartum experience was after Charlie’s birth, until now after Rileys birth. While Riley’s recovery has been easier in many ways, it’s not without obstacles. What I’ve learned most is that self care can look different for everyone and every pregnancy for postpatum. The biggest favor you can do for yourself is to take comparison out of the picture. The journey you are on is unique. Do what feels best for you, your body, and your baby.
Instagram post 18087218272294707 The perfect Easter basket ^. Riley girl wearing a homemade outfit by me. 🌷🍊.

Last night Eric and I were discussing Easter and Passover traditions and our favorite part of the holidays. Eric’s family would wake up Easter morning and hunt for their Easter basket that was hidden around the house. Growing up in a dual religion household, my favorite memory was searching the house for the afikomen AND our backyard Easter egg hunt. While we aren’t a particularly religious household ourselves, we are looking forward to celebrating some of these fun traditions with our kids.

Please sleep a little more.
Thank you. 😴
