With years of experience working with children, beyond motherhood, I'm here to make things easy for you. If my career wasn’t already fun enough, as a side hustle I inspire creative entrepreneurs to go chasing waterfa - (iust kidding) - dreams.
Hello
I'm Lindsay Bishop
I'm a photographer of snuggly babies and all family moments. As a mom myself, I can relate to the everyday chaos of parenthood.
Aside from photographing newborn babies and families all around the San Francisco Bay Area, I'm also am a passionate educator for creative entrepreneurs.
I know this space you're in: a growing family, new adventures, and wondering how life moves so fast. I'm here to celebrate you just as you are, and hold space for you to see you're doing such a great job!
I love working with nervous new/first-time parents. There is nothing more that makes my heart sing than being welcomed into this beautiful intimate space after a family has had a baby.
I also love working with shy toddlers. I know most photographers gasp at this, but I think it’s just magical to watch toddlers personality bloom. I make it a personal goal to be in-tune with what they are needing to be comfortable during photoshoots.
A little biased, but moms inspire me.
Tangible inspiration: botanical and floral pieces being incorporated in photoshoots, wildflower fields, flowy dresses, personal items being incorporated in photoshoots (ex: parent has their childhood teddybear they want to use in pictures), and warm bright lighting.

I’ve been in business since 2013, so I was a newborn photographer long before becoming a mom to my two little girls (born in 2019 & 2022). Becoming a parent has definitely changed and shaped the way I work with my clients. I’ve been through the pregnancy woes, sleepless nights and the toddler meltdowns. I am very compassionate and intentional in my work.

I met my spouse while attending the University of Arkansas getting my bachelors in psychology with a focus on early childhood development. After a few years in Arkansas we decided to set our eyes on somewhere new. We made a really intentional move to Bay Area, CA. After 10 beautiful years in San Francisco and Oakland, we felt the urge for change again. We reside now in Austin, TX!

I have 50+ house plants and a happy little garden outside. I love spending my free time in the garden with my kids.

I wasn’t always a baby photographer! When I started my business I began as a wedding photographer and worked as a nanny on the side. Weddings weren’t my jam, and I didn’t want to stop helping families! After 10 years of being a nanny and 2 years as a photographer my two worlds collided: I began photographing newborn babies and focusing on families. I haven't looked back since!

I think that building out your community is one of the most important things you can do in your life and in your business. I would be so lost without my friends, family, and peers. I lead an educational group for over 1,000 creative professionals in SF with the goal of Community Over Competition. I love facilitating a space for creatives small business owners to thrive.
I believe inclusivity and equality discussions start at home. I hope someday my children don’t just stand up for themselves but also stand up for others.
